Product Description
The SBM-mini is an electric motor-driven rotary positive displacement pump with a rubber impeller. It is self-priming and best suited as a discharge or transfer pump for the various forms of wastewater. The pump housing is cast and machined AISI 316 stainless steel, and the pump shaft is machined AISI 316 stainless.
Both neoprene (CR) and nitrile (NBR) impellers are available from CEM for different applications – neoprene is best suited for seawater and other non-petroleum liquids, while nitrile is best for bilge water, engine oil, diesel fuel, etc. We currently only stock the neoprene impellers for this pump, but can order nitrile ones on request.
Because it has a rubber impeller, dry-run time should be limited to what is required to prime the pump.
The SBM-mini is available in 12VDC, 24VDC, 230VAC 1ph, and 400VAC 3ph. All versions of the SBM-mini pumps have a 1400rpm design speed.
