Product Description
The AM-D series from CEM are self-priming centrifugal pumps driven by an integrated four-stroke diesel engine. They are best suited as crash pumps, i.e. emergency backup pumps for bilge dewatering and firefighting. The pump housings are cast and machined bronze, with bronze impellers capable of handling liquids with suspended particles up to 8mm in diameter, and AISI 316 stainless pump shafts.
The AM-D series is available in three different pump/motor variants, with between 530L/min and 1466L/min flow rate, and equipped with either manual or electric starting. Shown here is the AM-D 50 with 765L/min output, 2000rpm to 3600rpm design speed, and powered by a 7.5kW Kohler diesel engine with the electric starter. Starter battery not included.
Optional extras include threaded bronze counter flanges, a vibration-dampened fixed mount, and a transport kit enabling the pump to be rapidly deployed wherever it is needed.
Performance curves available in the datasheet below.
