Product Description
The 070 series pumps from CEM are electrically-driven rotary positive displacement pumps of bronze construction. They are self-priming and best suited as bilge/firefighting pumps or transfer pumps for freshwater, saltwater, or diesel. The pump housings are cast and machined bronze, with bronze impellers, 316 stainless pump shafts, and are shipped with bronze inlet and outlet fittings.
The 070 series pumps are available in two motor power variants, 400V 3ph and 690V 3ph, rated at 5.5kW and 7.5kW respectively. Both versions have a 1400 rpm design speed and very similar pump performance. If driven from a 60Hz supply they will spin 20% faster with 20% higher flow rate. This has no significant effect on the longevity of the pump but may be important to consider in certain installations.
